Loving’s for Fools, Sarah Siskind.
A short video I put together for yesterdays cover, so I could put it on youtube. My usual bike route is really pretty at night.

Loving’s for Fools, Sarah Siskind cover.
So yeah, after almost 2 months of absence from music, I’ve taken an hour tonight to record this. The strumming pattern follows the bowerbirds cover of the song.
The lyrics in the song are really nice, that’s why I picked it plus I love any song that has harmonies, I’m always sold as soon as I hear harmonies. So yeah the lyrics, listen out for them.
Please don’t laugh at the falsetto, I hardly ever do it in recordings but I thought I’d go for it today ha. All recorded on mixcraft 5 as usual with my trusty Samson mic.
Headphones improve sound quality. And please as always, if you like it, it’d be a help if you like it and reblog, follow my soundcloud.
Thank you and I hope you enjoy it.

Ooh la, Kooks.
This was like a 30 minute cover so it’s a little rough so cut me some slack aha. I’ve been ill and haven’t talked to the person that makes me want to do music for a while so there was a break.
Trying to get back into it slowly again. A cover of an old kooks song, but I changed it a bit to fit more my style. A few vocal tracks and guitar, my voice is still shaky after chest infection for so long.
I hope you like it, as always reblog and like if you want to hear more.

I Can’t Make You Love Me by Bonnie Raitt
I was meant to do death cab for cutie but I changed my mind. This song is like a favourite of mine, the lyrics are like seriously powerful, if you listen in and try hear them you’ll understand what I mean.
If you can’t hear it, try earphones, it’s quite quiet.
I didn’t do this to showcase my ability or get reblogs/notes or what not. I did this simply because I really love this song and even if I can’t do it justice, when I play it I can really feel it plus it’s pretty personal to me.
Besides all that, I’m sorry I pull strange faces but I didn’t realise I did them until I saw afterwards lol. Don’t laugh at me…
Blame it on the Tetons, Josh Ritter.
I don’t know if you’ll see this Han, but I remember I said I would do this song ages but I finally got round to doing it. And I’d like to thank you for showing me a nice song.
I made a few mistakes and at one point I went all asian and ’brame’ instead of ‘blame’ lol.
The first little bit was Upper Penninsula by Sufjan Stevens, I made the electric guitar sound like a banjo which I might do soon.
Aha, but besides that it was a one take and it’s a really nice song to play, so listen to it.
Remember I have a soundcloud I’ll be uploading original songs up to soon, if you’d like you can follow that;
Bon Iver, Blue Tulip
Did this quick video cover today. No edits, just a one take because I felt like it. I made so many mistakes but I couldn’t care less, it’s a lovely song and I think I’m going to do these easy one take videos more.
Hope you like it.
p.s. I’m so sorry I kept looking everywhere and look weird, I couldn’t look at myself on the screen it was so awkward.
With every single cell of me I’m going to make you mean the words you say.
To be Alone with You, Sufjan Stevens.
So I covered this song since it’s been a while, I did it really quick so be nice. It’s a really lovely song and the lyrics are so well written.
I did like a few vocal tracks on just one guitar track in like 30 minutes. Use headphones because it’s quite quiet.
I hope you like it. I’ll post the download link if people ask for it.
For widows in paradise, For the fatherless in Yipsilanti, Sufjan Stevens.
I recorded this in like 30 minutes so don’t hate me if it’s rough. Like always headphones does make it better but it’s not so necessary this time I tried hard to make it nice through speakers.
I recorded 4 vocal tracks and just one guitar and bass.
The lyrics in this song are really nice. I hope you like it.
p.s. I take it back, it needs headphones.
Thank you for listening and liking my music, it honestly means a lot. I have provided a download link since a few people requested for it;

Foreign Pastures, Devalexwg.
My first original song, oh god. Try to listen with an open mind I guess. I don’t really know what to say. So yeah…
Once again headphones make quality that much better and if you could please reblog this one if you like it, that would be so much help since it’s now my own work and not covers.
I’ll post lyrics afterwards, because I suck at pronouncing words while singing.
Night and Day, Chief.
I’d like to dedicate this to Eric, who has promised to use my music one day for his runway show in the future with nature themes and elks walking around.
A cover that took like 50 minutes on Mixcraft 5. Full range of drums, tambourine, guitar bass and vocals.
It’s a really slow folk acoustic song, I’m sure you can see the trend here. It was relaxing to sing it as you can hear the drawl in my voice. Sorry if the vocals aren’t up to scratch today, I’m a little ill and coming down with a cold.
I was thinking should I start posting lyrics as well since people said they can’t understand me T^T.
p.s. Use headphones for better quality and please reblog to help out, I’ll be posting originals starting next week.
Lakes of Canada, Surfjan Stevens.
Dedicated to Gianne because I’ve never even dedicated a song to her and she deserves one for being the best.
I made this within the hour today. It’s a cover of a cover actually. It’s originally a banjo song, but I kind of transcribed it to guitar.
It has like 4 vocal tracks, guitar and bass. No percussion this time, as always recorded on Mixcraft 5.
Hope you like it even though this song is even more obscure than last night’s song. I hope it’s relaxing and soothing because it’s meant to be that kind of song.
p.s. Use headphones for good quality and please reblog to help me out. I’m going to try post covers and songs on a regular basis.
This is spectacular, Dev. Thank you for the dedication. I hope you haven’t forgotten the Skinny Love cover you did a long time ago for me.
I didn’t forget aha, don’t ever give that to anybody, it was so rough.
